Supporting Education in the Arts

An old Asian saying goes, “Give a man a fish and you feed him once. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for life!” Education is the foundation and the future of a nation. An education in the arts translates to nurturing the creative and the expressive. Artists stimulate feelings, thoughts, concepts and ideas through mediums that inspire, provoke and inform. Through the arts, the imagination is unleashed, initiating thought and reflection. Art is the beauty that surrounds our daily lives.

The Arts in Asia

New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts is one of the world’s leading arts schools. In 2007, Tisch School of the Arts opened its doors in Asia, establishing its NYU’s first campus off New York City: Tisch School of the Arts Asia. Now, Singapore and all of Asia have the resources that a world-class arts school offers – the same curriculum that has taught some of the biggest names in American cinema, some of the most brilliant writers and animators the world has ever known.  There’s something else that Tisch School of the Arts Asia brings to this region and that is an amazing pool of talent from all over the world.  Each day they are discovering new opportunities to do business in this region.

The Mission

Our mission is simple. We provide the best education for the next generation of artists. We do this by nurturing great storytellers in a “learn by doing” environment that couples a rigorous academic curriculum alongside state-of-the art equipment.  The school provides students with every frame of film that they shoot on, every pencil they sketch with, and every page of script they print and read.

How Giving Helps

Your gift to support education in the arts means giving to the future of a person. It also means giving an opportunity for someone to tell great stories that will entertain, inspire, and contribute to the world. You will be part of that experience.

Visions for the Future

The school appeals to you to realize its Visions for the Future. Contribute to the growth of our school and make a difference to the lives of the future leaders in the arts.

(* Donations made are eligible for tax relief in USA & Singapore.)
