The New Media Marketplace

NEW.COURSE   Lecture/Lab   2 Credits

The course is designed to equip the student with an understanding of marketing and financing  new media ventures.  The course provides the student with the skills to launch a new project and gain attention in new media and technology conferences, and ultimately, in the marketplace.  Conferences that will be used as a focal point for projects include TED, Siggraph, Pop!Tech, O’Reilly, and Digital Arts Expo.
