Through improvisation, theater games, commedia exercises, clowning and mask, the student practices the craft of creating spontaneous theater without structured script, blocking or rehearsal. Students are encouraged to trust their instincts, respond viscerally to their environment, work collaboratively in the moment and commit to their choices. Through character study, scenarios, monologues and scene work, actors use a wide variety of mediums to develop their individual creativity and find freedom in performance.
Certificate of completion will be awarded to students who satisfactorily complete the course.
