Curriculum Skills
Students can expect to learn the following skills:
- The ability to communicate your ideas and to respect the ideas of
others; Learn how to ask pertinent questions and how to be resourceful
to find answers to problems and to adapt to changes along your
production path.
- The ability to work with top people in the field on exciting ideas and stories.
- Project development with a deep understanding of production. From
text to visuals -- how to produce an animation from a synopsis to the
final rendering; Which tools to use, how to organize production, and
how to breakdown complex ideas or stories into smaller elements.
- Development of leadership and management skills.
- Growth of your artistic vision by exploring several digital media
formats including (and not limited to) 2D, 3D, sound, video, animation,
motion graphics, interactivity, digital storytelling, digital
cinematography visualization and new technologies, in order to develop
a personal voice, a vision and ways to communicate your ideas to others
in addition to implementing them.
Master - in depth - at least two digital media in order to feel at
ease in the workplace, including 2D graphic design, 3D design, 3D
modeling, 3D digital prototyping, sound, video, animation, stop motion,
motion graphics, motion capture, character design, character rigging,
character animation, interface design, interactive animation,
scripting, coding, digital storyboarding, texturing, game art, game
production, digital cinematography, compositing, 3D environments,
lighting, rendering, special effects, digital imaging, digital matte
painting, matchmoving, 3D visualization, virtual reality, digital
assets management, integration of new technologies.
