NYU Tisch School of the Arts Asia, in conjunction with the NYU Office of Financial Aid, awards scholarships, loans, and grants to students based on financial eligibility. For an overview of the university's financial aid opportunities and deadlines, please visit here.


Scholarships from Tisch School of the Arts Asia

The school awards a small number of partial scholarships each year to incoming students. All students are eligible. These scholarships are awarded each year by the Department Chair to help cover the cost of tuition and range in value from $5,000 to $15,000 USD. Information regarding scholarships will be communicated following admission to one of the programs.

Arts Network Asia

Arts Network Asia (ANA) will consider projects that encourage challenging, provocative exchanges and collaborations between different cultures within Asia. This includes contemporary art, contemporary art and its relationship to traditional arts or encounters between traditional cultures.

National Arts Council

Singaporeans and permanent residents who apply to the Dramatic Writing program are eligible to apply for a scholarship from the National Arts Council. More information is available here.

Students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to qualify for loans and grants. Students from the U.S. are encouraged to submit the FAFSA each year to determine aid eligibility and renewability.

Students who hold a valid student pass are permitted to work part-time up to 16-hours per week during the semester and full-time during vacations.
